Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. He is the son of Manny James and Patty James of mixed race. The father of Manny James is Nigerian as is his mother caucasian-American. He graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School. In 2015, he earned an undergraduate degree in Economics at Wake Forest University. James became famous when he made his on-screen debut on the reality star in The Bachelorette. In the year 2020, he was selected as the bachelor on The Bachelor's season 25, becoming one of the very initial African American male lead which was later aired in 2021.
