Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig in September 21 1982. She is an American Actress best known as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington located in Ohio dropped out high school and moved to Los Angeles after her divorced parents. In the midst of financial hardship, she got her first part as Rachel's Room's title character the online video show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. Following her win of an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her performance as Murder in Greenwich of 15 year old Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace was able to be awarded. In 2004, Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost in which she acted as a principal cast member for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace has worked together with Tom Welling on The Fog in 2005, decided to make the move into film. She was in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in both 2007 as well as Taken (2008) alongside Liam Neeson. The actress reprised her character as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation from the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role as Shannon for two additional episodes of Lost including the series finale. The actress was featured in 2013's sixth season of Californication. In addition, she was a Secret Service Agent in White House Down which was an action thriller that was released in 2013. She also played a musician in Frank (2014) as well as her role as the main character for the lead role in The Kindergarten Teacher, a film that debuted in the year the year 2018. Gyllenhaal began her professional career as screenwriter and director in 2021 when she directed and wrote The Lost Daughter, a psychological drama. The Lost Daughter. The film received the award for Best Screenplay in the Venice International Film Festival, and was later nominated by the Academy Award.
